夢の名前

文明の便利さに溢れた生活の中で自然を求める。
相反する気持ちを常に持っているのが人らしい人なのだろう。
行っては帰ってくる短い旅の道具に私の作品がなるといい。

黒塚直子

東京生まれ。
1983年、東京藝術大学美術学部デザイン科卒業。
1985年、同大学院修了。
80年代はビデオアート作品を制作。
「ひるねの間」はＮＹ，ＭＯＭＡパーマネントコレクション。
90年代から藍染料を使った絵と、テラコッタのオブジェ作品を制作。

The Name of Dreams

In a life filled with the conveniences of civilization, we still seek nature.
Perhaps it is in human nature to always hold such conflicting emotions.
I hope my works can become a companion on the short journey of going out and returning home.

Naoko Kurotsuka

 

〔cv〕

Kurotsuka was born in Tokyo.
She graduated from the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts in
1983, completing her graduate studies there in 1985.
In the 1980s, she created video art works.
Her piece 「Nap Room」is part of the permanent collection at MoMA,New York.
Since the 1990s, she has been creating paintings using indigo dye and terracotta sculptures, exploring the fluid connections between human consciousness, nature, and memory.
